Job Description Job Description Job Summary: RK Chevrolet, a reputable auto repair shop in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Quick Service Technician to join our team. This is a full-time role with a competitive hourly pay of $15 per hour, paid weekly. As a Quick Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks and ensuring timely completion of service requests. Quick Service Technician Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay of $15 per hour Paid weekly Opportunities for advancement and growth within the company Paid time off and sick leave Comprehensive health insurance coverage available Retirement savings plan with employer matching Employee discounts on auto repair services and parts Quick Service Technician Responsibilities : Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks on vehicles Conduct multi-point inspections to identify any issues or potential problems Replace filters, windshield wipers, and other parts as needed Maintain accurate records of all services performed and materials used Communicate with service advisors to explain recommended services and additional repairs Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Attend training and development programs to stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in the auto industry Assist other technicians with more complex repair tasks as needed Quick Service Technician Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a Quick Service Technician or in a similar role is preferred Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance tasks and procedures Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication and customer service skills Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time ASE certification is a plus, but not required EEOC Statement: RK Auto is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
