Title: TRADES TECHNICIAN (PLUMBER) State Role Title: Maintenance and Repair Workers, General Hiring Range: $51,428 - $70,971 Pay Band: 3 Agency: Dept Behavioral Health/Develop Location: Eastern State Hospital Agency Website: https://dbhds.virginia.gov/facilities/esh/ Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties Directly responsible to the Trades Manager for providing a safe and comfortable environment for residents & staff by repairing and maintaining properly functioning equipment and systems to include but not limited to: potable water systems, pumps, water/steam heat exchangers, hot water heating systems, sanitary sewer systems, steam and condensate distribution systems, fire suppression/sprinkler systems, and related equipment. Minimum Qualifications • Extensive experience at a Journeyman's level in commercial: Plumbing, steam and condensate systems, fire suppression and sprinkler systems. • Valid Driver's License. • Gas Fitters License. • Completion of trade school and/or accredited Plumbing/Steam fitting apprenticeship.
