A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed and certified audiologist to provide specialized audiology services within a school setting in Chesapeake, VA. This position involves developing and establishing a new audiology program to replace previous clinic services that are no longer available to the district. Candidates must hold a PhD and maintain current Virginia audiologist licensure to be considered. Key responsibilities include traveling to various schools within the district to perform hearing exams and provide 1:1 audiology support for students. This itinerant role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload across multiple locations effectively. The position offers a contract-based engagement with a workload of 37.5 hours per week.
