At CarMax, you’ll have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art tools in a team-oriented environment. Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and components Excellent manual dexterity skills Strong problem-solving and communication skills Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k ASE certification preferred Valid driver’s license
