FULL TIME POSITION POSITION SUMMARY: The Vent Program Manager is responsible for the efficient management of respiratory therapy services in his/her assigned account. Responsible for the management of the Respiratory Care Program. Establishes systems and communication networks to assure the delivery of a quality program. Manages staffing, use of equipment, billing, and payroll. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, orienting, counseling, and developing respiratory staff for the assigned account. Ensures all staff members maintain up-to-date credentials (including CPR certification and state licensure requirements). 2. Coordinates schedule to ensure appropriate staffing levels for the assigned account as dictated by census, workload and budgeted hours. 3. Ensures the timely completion and accuracy of all billing information and reports related to census, productivity and care rendered. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the areas of clinical services, personnel management, and business process management. The Vent Program Manager will ensure the timely and appropriate delivery of services to the patients in his/her assigned account; the coordination of the internal and external billing process and payroll; assurance of education related to care. 4. Delivers treatment and care for 2 twelve hour shifts per week with designated administration time of 16 hours (may vary from facility to facility based on center needs). 5. Manages the customer relationship and works to proactively build customer satisfaction. Responsible for continuous improvement of the respiratory program. Establishes good working relationships with assigned staff at the assigned account. The accounts' staff includes, but is not limited to the Administrators, Directors of Nursing, Admission Coordinators, Case Managers, Bookkeepers, and/or other clinical staff. 6. Works with facility central supply to ensure that supplies and equipment are available and maintained for the timely and appropriate delivery of care. Assures accurate accounting and utilization of supplies and equipment. 7. Upholds the GRS Promises: be ethical I will lead by example by always acting with integrity and honesty.
