goals and aspirations.Position SummaryJacobs seeks a full-time
Program Manager for Engineering Support Services for key
Transportation projects in the Hampton Roads area. Reporting
directly to the Global Highways Lead or Regional Manager, this
position will include serving as PM for large VDOT program(s),
including overseeing a team of project managers and technical staff
to execute all aspects of Design, Procurement, Construction
Management, Engineering, and Inspection. This position is
client-facing and would be the direct contract with several
high-ranking onsite Owners Representatives. There will be an
emphasis on ensuring Schedule and Cost while maintaining safety.
Co-location with the Owner will be required.When you join us,
you'll be responsible for overall project delivery (cost, schedule,
quality, information, contracts) on multiple project assignments
and will manage project development from conception through
completion (both large and small) in accordance with program
objectives.We'll look to you to manage all budgets, schedules,
scope development, design and construction contracts, documents,
procedures and controls for assigned projects. You'll manage the
review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor
pay applications as well as change orders and coordinate with
Control Manager for proper posting in the reporting program.As the
Program Manager, you'll resolve complex construction related
issues, disputes, and disagreements; and review status and monitor
variances of the construction project database relative to
scheduling and cost control reporting. Additionally, you'll attend
assigned meetings to cover weekly job progress and document
meetings as necessary;The successful candidate should be able to
multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the
successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills as
this position is client facing, balancing the needs of the client

Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or
Architecture--- Current Professional Engineer's license by VA
DPOR--- Substantial experience as a Project Manager in
Transportation Engineering--- Previous substantial experience in
delivery of projects and programs for VDOT--- Strong working
knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building
systems/components and technology, contract management, project
delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
