Metallurgy Quality Manager - Foundry

Job Description:

Working with a growing manufacturing client located in northern Virginia that is looking for talent to build the foundation in order to grow and expand their operations. They are searching for a Metallurgy Quality Manager who can take their foundry through ISO9001 development and certification while building a stellar quality program. This includes supervising the quality lab, developing young metallurgy and quality professionals, implementing manufacturing excellence methods, etc.

Requirements:

--- BS Metallurgy degree

--- 5+ years of related metals industry experience

--- Expertise in leading manufacturing plants through ISO9001 development & certification

--- Manufacturing supervisory experience

--- Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

--- Desired - Metallurgy expertise with melting and casting

--- Desired - CQE certification

--- Desired - Lean six sigma manufacturing excellence expertise

Our client is targeting the $120K to $135K salary range plus annual bonus, good benefits, and flexible relocation. Another plus is that this plant only operates during week days so excellent work life balance
