Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr. Category Manager Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute supply strategies for assigned materials and
services, ensuring alignment with financial and quality
objectives
Prepare Requests for Proposals, oversee the proposal process, and
conduct proposal analysis including price and cost modeling
Lead cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement programs
while maintaining professional relationships with suppliers
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree desirable
8 - 12 years of related experience or equivalent work
experience
CPM and CPIM certifications preferred
Strong financial analysis skills including cost and price
analysis
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and ERP systems
