• Company Perks ProgramWhat are you motivated by?:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Manager to join our team. The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the resort's operations, including staff management and guest satisfaction. The role involves leadership, strategic planning, and working closely with owners and board members.What you're great at:
  • Leading resort staff to achieve operational goals.
  • Establishing standards for personnel administration, guest service, rental rates, and policies.
  • Promoting and generating rental income.
  • Reviewing night audit and daily paperwork for accuracy.
  • Ensuring adequate staffing across departments.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and terminating employees in coordination with HR.
  • Planning guest activities and events within budgets.
  • Overseeing room assignments and vendor invoice approvals.
  • Ensuring efficient front desk operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Analyzing and managing operating budgets.
  • Monitoring activity reports and implementing operational changes.
  • Representing the resort in the community and resolving owner/guest issues.
  • Communicating with owners, exchange companies, and VRI.
  • Submitting reports to the board and accounting.
  • Managing assessment payments and owner delinquency issues.
  • Developing owner reservation plans post-escrow.
  • Monitoring guest and owner feedback to improve perceptions.
  • Maintaining health and safety standards and conducting related training.
  • Conducting oneself professionally and adhering to company policies.
  • Providing on-site coverage for service needs outside regular hours.Note: Responsibilities may vary by location.     • At least 2 years' experience in a vacation ownership resort.
    • High school diploma; knowledge of hotel and timeshare operations.
    • Experience with automated reservation systems.
    • Professional communication skills with owners, guests, and staff.
    • Ability to read and interpret manuals and safety instructions.
    • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
    • Effective public speaking skills.
    • Basic math skills, including calculations of discounts and percentages.
    • Problem-solving and data analysis abilities.
    • Physical ability to lift 30 pounds safely.
