Since then, Aliron has grown into a dynamic company that has over the years employed nearly 500 people in 19 time zones for numerous defense agencies across sixteen states in the continental United States as well as projects in Germany, Italy, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Guam, Panama, Alaska, and HawaiiResponsibilities:* Perform the full spectrum of sterile techniques, setting up surgical trays, preparing and draping patients for surgery, and assisting with post-operative dressings.* Ensure surgical packs are cleaned and packed for sterilization after every procedure, to include restocking surgical supplies.* Must have knowledge in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology; nursing theory, techniques and procedures; team nursing; patient needs; emergency medical treatment to include cardiopulmonary resuscitation, aseptic technique, medical ethics, and legal aspects; prescribed drugs and their administration; operating and maintaining therapeutic equipment, hygiene and sanitation; risk management, disaster preparedness and transportation of sick and wounded.* Maintain a clean, safe environment for the patient either by active participation in the cleaning of clinical spaces, operating rooms, and medical equipment, or by guiding other personnel in the environmental maintenance.Qualifications:* Education: Graduate from Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or completion of a formal training program provided by any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) for surgical technicians, surgical technologists or operating room technicians.* Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or certified as a Tech-in-Surgery (TS-C) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or possess a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) certification as a surgical technician and/or operating room technician.* Experience: One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician after graduation* Have at least 12 months of experience within the last 36 months in an outpatient clinic setting performing functions such as care and treatment of patients and operating and maintaining therapeutic equipment.Why Aliron InternationalAliron offers competitive wages for all its positions as well as a generous benefits package:* Sponsored medical, vision, and dental plan options through United Healthcare, the largest and most widely accepted provider in the United States (eligible from first day of work)* A robust 401(k) plan with company matches (eligible 90 days after hire)* Paid time off and paid federal holidays.Most importantly, you can take pride in working for a company dedicated to serving our government by providing the best, most cost-effective solutions for the US Government.
