Job Description:

Are you an experienced or new physical therapy school graduate with hopes of securing a temp to perm outpatient job? We are assisting our client, a therapist-owned clinic in a rural farming community, to hire a full-time licensed physical therapist. Snow Hill is located about 25 minutes from Salisbury. Snow Hill offers plenty of activities like mountain biking the trails through thousands of acres of public forest and hiking at Shad Landing and Milburn Landing, both part of Pocomoke River State Park.

The PT role will treat 15-18 patients per day. The patient population is a wide variety from age 8 to 88. This is a temp to perm assignment, so the ideal candidate must be willing to become a permanent employee.

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist
Assist your patients in meeting functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.
Realize your own potential to achieve your goals and overall excellence.
Advise and consult with the family and/or other caregivers as indicated to promote the client's level of progress toward mutually agreed upon goals and plan for discharge.
Participate in educating the client and the family or other caregivers to promote the client's progress toward mutually agreed upon goals.

Requirements of the Physical Therapist
Qualifying Degree: DPT, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Prefer a therapist with experience, but new grads are welcome to apply (mentoring available)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Maryland State PT license

Compensation and Benefits of the Physical Therapist
Pay: $44 - $46 per hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.*
