Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: --- 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months. --- 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from any number of months. --- Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. --- BSN completion preferred Requirements: --- Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required for submission). --- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live > 50 miles from facility to be submitted.--- COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted. --- COVID booster required after submission. • 25 Bed - Critical Access Hospital
• Ratio: Up to 1:6 (but typically lower)
• Patient population: 18+ - CHF, DM, pneumonia, and strokes most common Every other weekend and every other holiday 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred) Proficient in lab draws and IV starts preferred Critical Care Course (preferred) EKG Exam Required (study guide in Simplify library) Scrubs: Navy blue, white, or any combination of the two colors. 2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required for submission Proof of identification required for submission Certifications: --- PCCN (Progressive Care Nursing (Adult --- BLS (Basic Life Support) --- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) --- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) --- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
