Job Description:

seeking a new Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a promising
opportunity with their growing team in Suffolk.ResponsibilitiesThe
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will:Prepare and implement written
plans of care for each residentPrepare monthly progress reports
relative to the Nursing Plans of Care and new needs as they are
identifiedUpdate monthly nursing reports for all consumersProvide
healthcare training to residents, staff, and/or families as
necessarySchedule, monitor, and ensure documentation of all medical
services required by consumersSupervise the implementation of
policies and procedures concerning medication storage, handling,
and administrationReview MARs and physicians orders weekly, to
ensure proper administration by Residential TechniciansParticipate
as an active member of the Interdisciplinary TeamPerform other
duties, as neededQualifications:2+ years of work experience with
the Developmentally Disabled populationGraduate of an accredited
Practical Nurse programVA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Experience
with Psychiatric / Behavioral Healthcare NursingSolid assessment,
clinical, and documentation skillsPatient orientedGreat
interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and
verbal)Strong atteniton to detailHighly organizedby Jobble
