Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours,/n distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. /n 5 bed ICU/nMust be able to recover fresh hearts (will recover, extubate, pull chest tubes) /nPatients sitting up by the next morning/nPatient population is pretty stable will stay on the unit for the entirety of their stay (generally 4-5 days)/nVasopressors, blood, sedation, paralytics /nCVLs, temporary HD caths, Swan catheters, Impella, balloon pump, CRRT/nVentilator, BiPap/nSupport staff is RT, 2-3 nurses on unit/nNeed to be very independent and confident with taking fresh post op CABG, AVR/MVR/nBalloon pump and Impella - are rare, but ratio is 1:1/nGenerally, no ECMOs, but will be 1:1 with a perfusionist.
