Medical Center in Newport News, VA, provides the newest medical
technology in a healing environment. It is the most comprehensive
facility of its kind on the Virginia Peninsula. This short-term
acute care hospital with 300 beds is a voluntary nonprofit and a
member of Riverside Health System. The hospital features a neonatal
intensive care unit with 21 beds and neonatologists located

our dedicated 24hr CRNA team! Requirements Responsibilities -
Pre-anesthesia assessment - Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discusses anesthetic options and risks with the patient -
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia - Monitoring
of the patient's physiological condition - Performance of clinical
intervention as needed Requirements - Current license as a
registered professional nurse - Graduation from an accredited
program of nurse anesthesia education - Certified or recertified by
the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
