Job Description Ethos Medical Staffing is seeking a local contract nurse RN Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Newport News, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract 54 Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit. Ratio on days 1:4 or 1:5 and on nights 1:5 or 1:6. Patient population includes CP r/o MI, CHF, arrhythmias, post CABG, post cardiac catheterization with stents or angioplasty, pacemakers, etc. Occasionally also take neuro overflow to include acute stoke patients. NIHSS scale certification is necessary in addition to ACLS. We also staff with C.N.A’s on days and nights. We have a designated charge nurse that helps as a resource on the unit.
