Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work in 6 Front Telemetry, Med Surg, Trauma unit /n• Patient ratios of 5 to 6:1 /n• 2 years experience in hospital setting required /n• Must have active VA/Compact license at submission /n• Required certifications: BLS & ACLS /n• Must pass basic rhythm test /n• Work with equipment including EKG, Code cart, Welch Allyn vital machines, Vascular Doppler, wound vacs, Cultura Link interpreting services, Carescape monitors for rhythm monitoring at bedside /n• Electronic medical record system: Meditech /n• Typical procedures include small I & Ds, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Thoracentesis /n• Medical surgical experience preferred /n• Dress code requires navy scrubs, no cotton jackets allowed /n• High energy and positive attitude required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility is a Level I trauma hospital featuring state-of-the-art technology and modern amenities.
