is a physician-led nephrology practice serving the greater Richmond
area with a strong commitment to compassionate, comprehensive
kidney care. Our team of board-certified nephrologists partners
with patients, families, and referring providers to deliver expert
care for all stages of kidney disease. Position Overview We are
seeking a Part-Time Dietitian to join our dedicated team of kidney
care specialists. This position offers an exciting opportunity to
collaborate closely with our physicians to improve the health and
quality of life of patients living with chronic kidney disease and
related conditions. Responsibilities Conduct individualized
nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition plans for
patients with CKD, dialysis, hypertension, diabetes, and related
conditions. Provide ongoing nutritional counseling and support
based on evidence-based guidelines. Partner with nephrologists to
ensure an integrated care approach for optimal patient outcomes.
Work across multiple office locations as part of your weekly
schedule. Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and
contribute to care coordination efforts. Requirements: Registered
Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
credential required. Active licensure in Virginia (or eligibility
for licensure upon hire). Previous experience with nephrology,
renal nutrition, or chronic disease management preferred, but not
required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a
passion for patient education and empowerment. Ability to work
independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Familiarity with Athena EMR or similar electronic health
record/billing platforms preferred.
