OB/GYN PhysicianLocation: Richmond, VAJob Type: Locum TenensOverview:An established OB/GYN practice is seeking a physician to provide coverage across both clinic and hospital settings. This role includes outpatient care, labor and delivery, and on-call responsibilities within a collaborative team environment.$1500 / 24h with $300/hr call backAssignment Dates:May , 2026June 2 3, 2026June , 2026July 1 2, 2026July , 2026July , 2026August 1 2, 2026August 4 5, 2026August , 2026August , 2026Schedule:Office hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM24-hour call shifts in combination with clinic coverageCall rotation: 1:4Practice Details:Setting: Office and HospitalEMR: EpicTrauma Level: IIOnsite lab and ultrasound availableStrong clinical support staff (1:1 support per provider)Team includes physicians and midwivesPatient Volume:2530 patients per dayPractice Mix:90% low-risk obstetrics10% high-risk obstetrics20% gynecologyApproximately 10% C-section rateResponsibilities:Outpatient OB/GYN careLabor and delivery coverageInpatient rounding and call responsibilitiesPerform gynecologic procedures and surgeriesRequired Procedures:Obstetrics:Low-risk pregnancy managementFetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)OB ultrasound interpretation (Level I/screening)Labor & Delivery:Vaginal deliveries (including assisted)Cesarean sectionsManagement of complicated deliveries (breech, multiple births, abruptions)VBACsRepair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerationsGynecology:Office procedures (IUD placement, colposcopy, cryotherapy, LEEP, cystoscopy)Surgical procedures (laparoscopic and open cases including tubal ligation, ectopic pregnancy, ovarian procedures, and adhesiolysis)Requirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN RequiredActive Virginia License or willingness to obtain RequiredBLS & ACLS RequiredNPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) RequiredMust be local and provide location at time of submission RequiredCredentialing:Estimated timeframe: 120 daysAbout WhiteCoat Locums:- Physician owned and led agency- Highest-Pay rates on the market- $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail- 100% transparency
