What You ll Do

• Provide Maternal Fetal Medicine care across office and inpatient settings
• Manage a high proportion of high-risk pregnancies (reported 95% high risk; 5% low risk)
• Perform and/or support required procedures including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling
• Provide expertise in managing complex conditions such as pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancy, growth restriction, hypertension, thrombophilia, genetic disorders, and congenital abnormalities
• Support care plans for pre-term labor and other fetal/maternal comorbidities associated with high-risk pregnancy
• Provide consultation and follow-up consistent with MFM practice (phone-only consult requirements for MCMC occasionally)
• Work within a collaborative team supported by RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, and front office team; clinic uses EPIC / viewpoint

What You Need
Required

• Board-certified / qualified Maternal Fetal Medicine provider (MFM credentials implied by specialty)
• Ability to provide the required high-risk MFM services and procedures listed above (amniocentesis, CVS)
• Licensure/credentialing readiness for assigned facilities (credentialing estimated 90 days)

Preferred

• Cerclage experience/skill (listed as preferred)

About the Assignment
This ongoing locum Maternal Fetal Medicine opportunity supports coverage across Richmond-area facilities, including Bon Secours St. Mary s Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, and Memorial Regional Medical Center. You will practice as part of a 2-provider service, with coverage rotated between clinic sites, supported by an NP rotation and onsite ultrasound capabilities. Coverage includes both office and inpatient care, with an average of 27 scheduled patients per day (practice context provided by facility).
