Job Title: Echocardiographer Profession: Echocardiographer Specialty: Pediatric Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: RDCS (PE) Certifications: ARDMS, CCID Must-Have: Experience in pediatric echocardiography Description: The Echocardiographer will perform various modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including transthoracic echo and stress echo. Assistance in transesophageal echo will also be required. The role includes performing other noninvasive testing, such as electrocardiograms and the application of Holter monitors. The Echocardiographer is accountable for the preparation of preliminary interpretation reports for echocardiograms. Responsibilities include billing procedures and study transmittal. Coverage for satellite sites may also be required. This position is full-time at 40 hours per week. The Echocardiographer will cover holidays, weekends, and be on call as needed.
