Human Resource Associate (REMOTE) Overview Date Posted: 3/29/2021 Requisition Number: 12445 City: Hampton State: VA Category: Human Resources Pay Rate: Negotiable Description Newly created position for our first ever HR Associate (you are the conductor keeping us on the tracks and on time!) to join this truly transformational Human Resources team. Please don't apply unless... You are responsible for the sanity of the HR leaders and some of the Sr. Executive Leadership team by helping us coordinate our calendars between each other. If you don't know how impactful this is - then this is not the job for you. In all seriousness, in this vital new role you are responsible for providing high-level functional and administrative support to Human Resources as well as having limited, but direct Sr. Executive Leadership team responsibilities. Minimum Requirements In this role you will: + Sr. Leadership Team Responsibilities: + Coordinate and schedule meetings among the Senior Executive Leadership Team members + Weekly Sr. Leadership team meeting: send agenda, take meeting minutes, send out meeting minutes with any follow-up requested, track to-dos. + Human Resource Responsibilities: + Administrative support: coordinate and schedule meetings, maintain HR document/template library, track/update projects timelines + Track budget: invoicing, purchasing, expenses, and basic forecasting + Maintain all contacts and contracts with vendors + Assist with professional communications creation and dissemination + Guide onboarding of our own department's newly hired employee's experience + Assist with coordinating behavioral assessments, distributing reports, and occasionally training staff on results. + Performs other duties as assigned We are looking for someone who has: + Demonstrated C-level Administrative/Executive support experience preferred + Human Resources and/or recruiting environment experience preferred + Proven organizational skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, including maintaining electronic documents/templates library + Ability to work independently with only strategic direction + Ability to manage competing priorities for self and others + Ability to be flexible and adapt to ever-changing priorities + Availability to work extended hours, if necessary + Ability to work effectively under pressure and a fast-paced environment with sense of urgency, as appropriate + Ability to quickly establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers at all levels within the organizational structure + Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with and among Executives + Positive "can-do" customer service frame of mind that is results-oriented + Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high pressure situations + Strong written and oral communication skills, including clear and concise articulation + Ability to draft documents + Ability to professionally proof and edit other's work + Creative/innovative presentation creation skills, as well as an engaging presenter + Familiarity with various presentation software preferred (i.e., PPT, Visme, Prezi, PowToon, etc.) + Skilled in tracking and updating project timelines (Excel sheets, Gantt charts, etc.) + Demonstrated INTERMEDIATE LEVEL Digital Skill Set in: + MS Office (Outlook, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) + The remote technology tool used is MS Teams (master it!) + MS Power BI strongly preferred (or can master within 6-months of hire with provided training) + Expense/purchasing process software + HRIS and ATS systems + Certified Predictive Index (PI) Analyst strongly preferred (or can obtain within 6-months of hire with provided training)#LI-Remote----
