Job Description:
*Job Summary:*
CRMP, Inc. is seeking an IT Technical Support Specialist to join
our technology department to help ensure the organization meets or
exceeds established business goals.
The selected candidate will manage in-cab technology solutions and
bridge the divide between production needs and IT. They will act as
the single point of contact and be solely responsible for
maintaining all in-cab technology and the supporting infrastructure
and applications to meet our business goals.
In addition, they will provide desktop, server, storage and network
support as needed.
This position includes a company vehicle and requires
background/driving record checks. Our coverage area ranges from
Boydton, VA to Hampton, VA and as far south as Nags Head, NC.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:*
* Installing & maintaining android tablets.
* Installing & maintaining drive recording camera systems.
* Troubleshooting android OS and application issues.
* Troubleshooting workstation and network issues.
* Ability to maintain a strategic upgrade plan, which includes
minimizing production downtime.
* Provide remote and onsite assistance utilizing provided
tools.
* Provide appropriate levels of coverage for after hour
support.
* Performs root cause analysis for all problems with
documentation.
* Maintains licenses for appropriate applications.
* Responsible for patch management for android OS and
applications.
* Assist business leadership with technology projects, services, or
applications to meet business needs.
* Partner with and manage outside IT vendors to ensure appropriate
solutions are planned and implemented.
*Competencies: *
* Stay current on IT solutions, products and offerings
* Expert skills in Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server.
* Knowledgeable of Windows Server 2019, Exchange 2016, SQL Server,
VMware vSphere, Azure, etc.
* Manage time efficiently to ensure prompt and accurate
resolutions.
* Strong communication skills and responds clearly to
questions.
* Seeks ways to improve and promote quality & efficiency.
*Qualifications:*
* 5 years field technical support
* Operating Systems: Android OS, Win 10, Win 11, Windows Server
2016
* Software: Exchange _2016, _SQL, Office 365, MS Teams
* Server Hardware: HP
* Workstation Hardware: Diagnostics, and Replacement/Upgrades
* Strong background in network troubleshooting, with a focus on
business environments, servers, desktop troubleshooting MS Office,
Network Printers, Email and various user applications.
* Troubleshooting system performance problems including
virus/malware removal
*Additional Qualifications Desired (but not required):*
* Advanced Exchange, VMware vSphere, SQL Server experience
* Software or web programing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,119.00 - $43,680.00 per year
