Description: MacAulay-Brown Inc. (MacB) has a Network and Desktop Technical liaison to support HQ Air Combat Command (A6) program directorate. The Network and Desktop Technical Liaisons will coordinate and support the execution of migration strategies supporting ACC enterprise/base-level network, server consolidations, and network control centers. Liaisons will be expected to perform migration analysis to identify and resource gaps prior to execution within the command and provide technical support on implementing VPN, PKI, and IPSec throughout the ACC and AF Infrastructure. Candidates must be able to conduct mission analysis of divestiture of capabilities associated with Air Force/ACC implementations in order to understand and baseline current mission requirements, capabilities and vulnerabilities as well as provide coordination/tracking for decommissioning of legacy ACC networks. Candidates will perform the role of Information technology equipment custodian to manage accountable IT related assets and maintain equipment inventories in accordance with AFMAN 17-1203, Information Technology (IT) Asset Management (ITAM). You will be expected to administer user accounts, file permissions, and print queues, load and configure software packages, updates, and patches, perform system backups. Additionally, Perform analysis, design and create integration/implementation plans with required documentation. Be able to analyze current and future virtualization environments at the server and client levels in support of network/server consolidation efforts. Support command efforts to reduce/modernize infrastructure through Unified Communications (UC) implementations. Candidates will be expected to research and analyze network and project implementations issues. Candidate will be required to support IAO duties for desktops, laptops, clients, thin clients, cloud and virtual desktop infrastructures implementations. Able to Analyze and provide recommendations to leadership regarding emerging network related technologies as well as provide weekly updates and project status to leadership. Provide user access to DISA Defense Enterprise Email (DEE) and enable Entitlement Managers for ACC staff and bases as needed. Oversee and maintain an organization cybersecurity program that identifies cybersecurity requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures. Enforce all AF cybersecurity policies and procedures. Assist the wing cybersecurity office in meeting their duties and responsibilities. Assist and ensure all users have the requisite security clearances, supervisory need-to-know authorization, and are aware of their cybersecurity (via cybersecurity training) before being granted access to AF IT according to AFMAN 33-282, chapter 4, AFI 31-501 and AFMAN 33-152. Ensure IT is acquired, documented, operated, used, maintained, and disposed of properly and in accordance with the IT's security A&A documentation as prescribed by AFMAN 33-210. Candidates will in coordination with the wing cybersecurity office, initiate protective or corrective measures when a cybersecurity incident or vulnerability is discovered as required. Expected to maintain required cybersecurity (COMSEC, COMPUSEC and TEMPEST) countermeasures and compliance measures IAW AFI 10-712, Telecommunications Monitoring and Assessment Program (TMAP). Must be able to understand and able to initiate requests for temporary and permanent exceptions, deviations, or waivers to cybersecurity requirements or criteria according to this instruction and applicable specialized cybersecurity publications. Provide support, inputs, and documentation for effective project management of network related programs and projects. Additionally, Candidates must be able to perform Administrator duties to support, maintain, integrate and perform Cybersecurity Liaison (CL) duties, i.e build computer accounts, work e-mail and file folder permissions, support VPN issues, install new CAC enabled clients on multiple systems and maintain distribution lists as needed, etc. Other responsibilities include: * Support the creation and deletion of user and computer accounts on SIPRNet and NIPRNet. * Load software, work printer issues (replace toner, fuser unit's toner and IP), rebuild machines, unlock accounts, reinstall PKI software and hardware, and configure Shared Drive permissions. * Set Org Box permissions, set up new VPN clients and wireless for home and TDY use and set up IMA accounts. * Enforce compliance on NOTAMs, update IA training, install new CAC certificates/work issues, configure new contractor accounts, build new tablet PCs, and create accounts and security groups on SharePoint * Reset SIPRNET passwords, coordinate TACLANE rekeying. * Maintain and liaison for OWA installations and configurations. * Coordinate EMSEC inspection, sustain and maintain VTC suites. * Submit appropriate documentation for various configuration changes, build computer images, and support CMI issues and resolutions. * Conducts studies and analyses of WAN-related issues to determine classroom configuration required to support courses. * Review network and desktop current and emerging documentation and make recommendations on new desktop, network and related applications. Requirements: * Two (2) years' experience implementing Microsoft (MS) Active Directory and MS Exchange within the Air Force Enterprise environment and applying Information Assurance (IA) principles. * Two (2) years' experience with DISA Defense Enterprise Email, managing managers as well as enabling users. * Two (2) years' experience with Thin Client and virtual desktop systems. * Two (2) years' experience with numbered air force (NAF) or higher staff organizations and base-level network architecture, as well as technical experience working issues with AFSPC NetOps organizations. * Two (2) years' experience providing network system engineering and implementation expertise in the maintenance and modernization of network infrastructure. * IA Technical Level II (i.e., GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP) certification IAW DoDD 8570 and DoDD 8570.01-M. * Experience using Microsoft-suite of applications tools, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and SharePoint. * Clearance Level: Secret For more than 39 years, MacAulay-Brown, Inc.
