Overview: \n\n Crown’s Food Division is the number one manufacturer
of food cans in the world. Our complete array of food packaging

food products. We offer a wide selection of food cans from round to

Plant 37 is located in Hanover, PA. The Plant manufactures 2-piece
and 3-piece steel cans for the food industry. There are
approximately 95 employees at the Hanover location. The Hanover
Plant is located on Route 194 in York County and is in close
proximity to York, PA, Gettysburg, PA and the Maryland border. \n\n
Position overview: \n\n The Production Line Maintainer, reporting
directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor, will be responsible for
maintaining a production line or designated area of the production
line (depending on assigned work area), performing quality checks
and making mechanical adjustments to the line based on the quality
readings. This position is scheduled on a rotating 4 days/ on 4
days off. Hours for this position are 5am-5pm. The hourly rate of
pay is $29.83. Duties And Responsibilities: \n\n Reporting directly
to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Production Line Maintainer’s
responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the
following: \n\n \n\t Safety first attitude to work effectively in a
team environment \n\t Responsible for the mechanical performance of
automated production machines and equipment that performs one or
more functions in the making of high-quality steel cans \n\t Make
necessary adjustments, repair, and/or changes to equipment and
machines \n\t Direct and assist in set up equipment and changeovers
\n\t Daily use of micrometer, dial indicators, and other precision
measuring equipment to make educated decisions in the operation of
machines and equipment in area of responsibility \n\t Use SPC and
Process control to maintain production of quality products at all
times \n\t Relieve slitter for breaks (3 piece) \n\t Performs other
job-related duties as required or assigned \n \n\n *Reasonable

Requirements \n\n \n\t Manufacturing experience \n\t Able to work
alternate work schedules including overtime, voluntary and
mandatory, based on business needs \n \n\n Preferred Requirements
\n\n \n\t High School Education/GED \n\t Previous demonstrated
industrial maintenance experience \n\t Knowledge of all OSHA
related training in a manufacturing environment. \n\t 6S Training
\n \n\n Physical Requirements \n\n \n\t While performing the duties
of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand,
walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to
balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl \n\t The employee must
regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or
move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50
pounds \n\t Ability to stand for 8–12-hour shifts \n \n\n Working
Conditions \n\n \n\t Generally, works in a plant environment \n\t
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be
exposed to light lifting, warehouse forklift traffic \n\t
