Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Ø Reporting to the Director of
CI, the Continuous Improvement Leads to ensure progress on
deploying and sustaining lean production system (LPS). Ø Promote
and support continuous improvement mindset within the plant. Ø
Reduce planned downtime by reducing change over / cleaning time
through standardization. Ø Share best practices with other CI Leads
across other plants. Ø Coordinate, facilitate, and administer
safety and quality management systems for the company. Ø Develop,
implement, and coordinate company-wide safety and quality training
programs for all company personnel. Ø Coordinate company
communications between all company facilities regarding safety and
quality related issues. Ø Review quality assurance standards,
existing policies & procedures to evaluate effectiveness of company
quality programs. Ø Prepare, schedule, and conduct Management
Review Meetings. Ø Ensure awareness of customer requirements and
feedback throughout the organization. Ø Initiate necessary
corrective and preventative actions. Ø Ensure the calibration of
measuring and test equipment. Ø Plans, coordinates, and directs
quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of
products consistent with established standards. Ø Directs, through
intermediate personnel, workers engaged in inspection and testing
activities to ensure continuous control over materials, and
products. Ø Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities
related to product quality and reliability. Ø Familiarity
w/regulatory requirements for operating plants, including Process
Safety Management, OSHA regulations, EPA regulations, EEOC
guidelines, FDA regulations (where applicable), state and local
requirements. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS v Bachelor’s Degree in
engineering highly preferred v 1-4 years experience in the
manufacturing industry, in a continuous improvement, process
improvement, lean manufacturing role. v Working knowledge of ERP
