The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior ISR IIQC Training Specialist at Langley AFB, VA This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command's (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide qualified support to ACC Intelligence Initial Qualification Course (IIQC) execution and other training activities as directed by the unit Senior Intelligence Officer, lead IIQC Instructor, or A2 staff. Personnel will support instruction, materials development, course maintenance, incorporate systems/tools across the curricula and other instructional support as required. Deliver pre-mission briefings and deliver academic testing at close of training events.

Training topics shall include ISR collection platform fundamentals (RADAR/IR theory, SIGINT, GEOINT, Special Payloads, Weapons Capabilities/employment and Threats), Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment, and introduction to core Air Force mission sets supported by the ISR community to include: Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Close Air Support, Combat Search and Rescue, Counter-land, Counter-Sea, and Strike Coordination and Reconnaissance.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree & 10+ years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree & 12+ years of relevant experience.

Ten (10) years Air Force intelligence experience, having achieved a "Mission Ready" (MR) status in their primary duty position

Five (5) years experience supporting site-specific Mission Design Series (MDS) or a similar mission-type MDS at the tactical unit level or in direct support from the operational level. For this location, MDS is the F-15E Strike Eagle platform. (F22 For Langley)

Previous instructor certifications and experience

Expertise with Multirole Fighter tactics

Previous ISRLO experience and at least one assignment within the Theater Air Control System (TACS) are required

Combat intelligence support experience, either deployed or from home-station is highly desired

Expertise on Air Force Instructions, AFTTP 3-1 documents, and other unit references

Must have active TS/SCI Clearance

Must be able to meet Special Access Program site requirements as applicable

Previous multirole fighter intelligence instructor experience
