Virtual Reality Software Developer (VRSD)R&K Enterprise Solutions, Inc. R&K supports Air Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Operations (A3), Flight Operations Division (A3T) by providing advisory services to support combat readiness and training, meet current and future needs, and to support the organization in the development and coordination of command guidance for all aspects of the Combat Air Forces (CAF). R&K provides support for Virtual Reality Training (VRT) services to improve ACC's formal training programs and "bring the future faster."Title: Virtual Reality Software Developer (VRSD) Location: ACC/A3T Langley AFB, VADuration: Permanent/ Full-TimeClearance: Secret ClearanceStart Date: January 2021Duties: The successful VRSD will support Artifical Intelligence/Software Engineering (AI/SWE) by assisting in the research and development of VRT into USAF training curriculum and perform duties to include:--- Integrate disparate and diverse technologies --- Develop synthetic task environments for research studies --- Evaluate off the shelf game-based technologies to determine military efficacy --- Work with augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) hardware and software development kits --- Evaluate VR and AR hardware and software modeling and simulation --- Provide technology integration advice to leadership and decision makers Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSA): Candidate must have the following qualifications: --- BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or =5 years of full-time employment in a related industry) --- Experience with Unity3D and Unreal Engine --- Familiarity with common programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, and Python --- Knowledge of common source control systems such as Git --- Experience working with virtual reality and augmented reality technology --- 3D modeling skill and proficiency --- Experience with game design and development --- Familiarity with localization technologies and their applications --- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across CONUS --- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance The following are Desired Skills/Qualifications: --- Experience working with USAF or DoD training programs --- Modeling and simulation experience --- Experience with database creation, data capture methods, and data analytics --- Familiarity with mobile platforms and application development (IOS/Android/Etc) --- A currently Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance R&K Enterprise Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity affirmative action employer committed to cultural diversity and compliance.
