As we grow, we are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst, to work onsite at Langley AFB, in Hampton, Virginia.Woolpert's System Analystwillhandlesystems administration tasks forAFGIMS (Air Force Geospatial Integration Management System), the Air ForceGISEnterprisethat supportsGIS(Geographic Information Systems)needs across the Air Force GeoBase program.TheSystemsAnalystwillsupportavailability, integrity and confidentiality of enterprise and installation mapping system with security controls found in the Air Force Geospatial Integration Management System (AFGIMS) accreditation package and in compliance with Air Force network (AFNet) securitystandards.Qualifications:US citizenship Current, previous DoD security clearance, or eligibility to obtain. Current CompTIA Security+ certification or be ability to obtain one within 4 weeks of hire date. Associate's or Bachelor's degree or four years' relatedsystems administration in an enterpriseenvironment or, such as:Adhering to a schedule ofperforming backups, patches,and security checks(STIGs).Organizing and documentingdetailedresults of security checksand scansperformed.Managingsoftwarepatching and security standardsin bothDoD classified and unclassified networksforthe following:WindowsServer 2012 and 2016,MicrosoftInternet Information Systems (IIS),ESRIArcGIS,andOracledatabase.Monitoring, maintaining, and refreshingprogram hardware including servers, computers and other IT equipment as needed.ProvidingRMF(Risk Management Framework)authorization support and consultation.Willingness to undergo a pre-employment verification process including background and drug screening.Responsibilities:Remediate CAT I and CAT II application-related vulnerabilities.Implement and maintain current and futureinfrastructureincluding servers andStorage Area Network (SAN).Performance Tuning: Provide system and application performance tuning and optimization including upgrades and configuration of system software and respective hosted applications.Perform critical daily backups, system patching, and system recovery as required or when directed by AF, DoD, and/or DISA Notices to Airman (NOTAM).Troubleshoot all AFNET, GCSS-AF, DISA GCDS, and other network issues that affect AF Geospatial Enterprise IT systems, geospatialinformationand web-services, as well as provide recommendations to mitigate potential issues in the future.Determine and document impact of changes to the system and environmentand prepare and update Plan of Action and Milestones (POA) as needed.Annual exercise of enterprise contingency and response plans including but not limited to the Continuity of Operations Plan, Contingency and Business Continuity Plan and Incident Response Plan.Provide RMF(risk Management Framework)authorization support and consultation.Skills:Demonstrated technical writingabilities.Scripting in PowerShell, Batch and Python.Strong critical thinking skillsExcellent organizational, communication and time management skillsAbility to understand and follow oral and writtendirections.Ability to work effectively without direct supervision and work independently once direction isprovided.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers and clients (government and military Geographic Information Officers and management staff)About WoolpertWoolpert is committed to a vision to become the premier architecture, engineering, geospatial (AEG) and strategic consulting firm, and one of the best companies in the world.It's a vision we've been fine-tuning for decades.
