Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Operations (A3), Flight
Operations Division (A3T) at Langley Air Force Base, VA is
responsible for the combat readiness and training of the Combat Air
Forces (CAF). ACC/A3T provides the operational expertise required
to meet current and future needs of the CAF by developing,
coordinating, and publishing command guidance for all aspects of
CAF fighter aircrew training. Requirements: Top Secret Clearance
Job Summary: Provide the experience and expertise necessary to
support all computer and network requirements for classified and
unclassified systems, to include information assurance,
communication security requirements and desktop support. Education
and Experience: + Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred) +
Ten years' experience providing systems and network administration
and oversight, LAN administration, Information Assurance/Cyber
Security, and desktop support for an organization with over 250
classified and unclassified computing systems and peripherals +
Three years' experience in Network Administration and Equipment and
Software management (to include custodial duties) with systems
similar in size to Air Force MAJCOM level + Certified IAT Level II
in accordance with DoD 8570 + Completion of a network certification
course such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+; MCSA General Network
Administration, or other applicable course + Completion of Desktop
Support certification (MSDT or equivalent). Essential Duties: +
Provide the experience and expertise necessary to support all
computer and network requirements for over 250 classified and
unclassified systems, to include information assurance, emission
security and communication security requirements and Tiers I, II
and III Desk Top support to A3/A3T/A3H/A3J/RA/IA/IAS/DTC. +
Maintain unclassified (NIPRNET) and classified (SIPRNET)
administrative privileges and permissions for JBLE-Langley AFB. +
Efficiently maintain a complete inventory of all hardware and
software and effectively project a + modernization plan for tech
refresh purchase options throughout the year. + Maintain DoD 8570
baseline certification training for IAT Level II (Security+) and
all Information Technology Equipment Custodian (ITEC), Unit
Software License Manager (USLM), Client System Administrator (CSA),
and Installation Systems Security Officer (ISSO), and Cybersecurity
Liaison (CL) annual training requirements. + Maintain several RAID
servers for file storage and data backup supporting over 200
personnel. + Maintain sufficient skills to troubleshoot and repair
any computer system or subsystem, to include data recovery. +
Develop training, as necessary, to educate users on new
capabilities or changes to current + hardware/software
configurations. + Ensure that all users understand Information
Assurance and Protection and shall perform periodic exercises and
develop plans to test user response to security threats. + Maintain
the knowledge and experience to develop and maintain web content on
both the unclassified Air Force (AF) Portal and classified
(SIPRNET) web servers. Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities: +
Demonstrated ability to write and employ scripts for user data
backup. + Demonstrated ability to provide the configuration and
network administration support necessary to repair, maintain and
troubleshoot the network infrastructure between the end user
hardware and the main network switch. + Ability to communicate
effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing, in
person and through technological mediums such as email,
videoconferencing, and by telephone. + Demonstrated experience
building/maintaining/repairing/backing up RAID servers. +
Demonstrated experience running Security STIGS against classified
and unclassified systems. + Working understanding of common
Microsoft Office suite programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and
PowerPoint + Excellent organizational and prioritization skills +
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to complete the
essential duties of the position + Ability to work virtually using
common technological mediums such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom
