M. Price Distributing Co. - One of the leading beverage distributors in Southeast Virginia is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting Team! The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate posting, collection and reconciliation of all accounts receivable and notes owed to the company.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Processing and reconciling all forms of customer and supplier paymentsPosting credits and adjustmentsIssuing client refunds and creditsPreparing monthly client statementsRecord employee purchases and deductionsRun and action daily reports including tax reportsOther related admin duties including greeting customers and guests, answering phones, maintaining and ordering office suppliesQUALIFICATIONS1-2 years of direct accounting or accounts receivable experience or a minimum 2 year degree in a related field.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS SOMEONE WHOEnjoys interacting with people and working in a group settingIs a self starter with the desire to learnHas great organizational and multitasking skills; detail orientedEnjoys working with little directionLikes to have fun at workWHY JOIN OUR TEAM?We offer competitive salaries, outstanding benefits, paid time off after 6 months, 6 paid holidays, and opportunities for growth and development with our organization.
