CT Technologist (Full-time) Motivated and experienced CT tech needed to join a local healthcare facility in Delaware.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prepare procedure room and patient for all studies, ensuring all equipment is properly disinfected and all dirty linen is disposed of and replaced after every patient.- Educate patients regarding ordered procedures, obtain patient history and written consent for exams, and ensure appropriate patient safety screening/consent forms are utilized to address all safety precautions prior to procedures.- Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols, monitoring patients during procedures and notifying Radiologist of any reactions or problems.- Ensure quality images for all completed procedures prior to releasing patients by reviewing films or sending images to the PACS System, depending on the type of procedure.- Carry out duties and assume responsibility for portions of the quality assurance program, as directed by the equipment vendors, and maintain competence with HIS, RIS, PHS, and PACS.
