Cloud Computing Application ArchitectThe Opportunity:Everyone is
trying to harness the cloud, but not everyone knows how. As a cloud
computing application architect, you know how to create a
cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and
takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your
cloud architecture skills to improve Defense system? We need you to
help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of Navy's toughest
problems.On our team, youll support IT Software development. This
is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look
for ways to improve your clients environment using current cloud
capabilities. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work
with defense clients to inform strategy and design and ensure
standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. Youll
recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current
environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and
hybrid resources. Youll lead your team as they help the client
overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud.
Additionally, youll broaden your skill set in areas like
automation, cloud-based security, etc., while developing critical

experience with IT software development and engineering8+ years of
experience with collecting requirements and developing technical
solution roadmaps for implementation8+ years of experience with
configuring commercial off-the-shelf solutions to meet customer
requirementsExperience with implementing robust security measures
for cloud environmentsExperience with the optimization of
cloud-based applications for performance, resource efficiency, and
costExperience with designing, implementing, and maintaining
scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutionsExperience with
automated deployment, scaling, and management of cloud
infrastructureSecret clearanceBachelor's degreeNice If You Have:5+
years of experience with supporting Navy systemsExperience with
Identity Authentication and AuthorizationExperience with Advanced
Networking design and troubleshooting, including DNS, Routing, or
SubnettingExperience with Infrastructure as Code, including
Terraform, Cloud formation, or Configuration as Code such as AWS
SSM, Ansible, PowerShell, or BashKnowledge of the design and
implementation of CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based
applications.Knowledge of cloud environments in support of DoD
ComplianceKnowledge of Ubuntu, RHEL, or Windows ServerAWS Certified
Solutions Architect, Associate or AWS Certified Developer,
Associate Certification, or MS equivalent

various factors, including but not limited to location, the
individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills,
competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific
affordability and organizational requirements. The projected
compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00
(annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical
salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz
Allens total compensation package for employees. This posting will
