Job Description:
A company is looking for a Genetic Counseling Assistant
(Mon-Fri).
Key Responsibilities
Assist with test utilization management efforts and resolve issues
with test orders
Facilitate test set-up by linking appropriate samples and adding
gene lists for custom tests
Provide basic client services regarding turn-around-time, specimen
requirements, and test status
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in
Medical Technology, chemistry, biology, or related physical
sciences
Experience with systems involved in test ordering and setup
Able to identify complex cases for escalation to a supervisor or
genetic counselor
Ability to perform related duties as assigned
