currently hiring a Nursing Care Partner / Patient Care Technicianat
Obici Hospital This is aFull-Timeposition with second shift hours
and great benefits! Position is located in Suffolk, VA.Job
Requirements: High School Grad or Equivalent Preferred: Basic Life
Support, Cert Patient Care Tech/Asst. For those acting as Safety
Partners, de-escalation and physical intervention training within
30 days of hire, except for those in Behavioral Health within 15
days of hire. One of the following programs is acceptable for
education: Sentara Care Partner Certification Program, successful
completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ), National
Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), National Patient Care
Technician (NCPCT), completion of US Navy Hospital Corps School,
Emergency Services to include EMR, EMS, EMT, AEMT and Paramedic, or
current student enrolled in a clinical program having completed at
least one semester of a (RN, LPN, RT or PT) or current work
experience within last three years as a PCT or Nursing Assistant.
One year of health care experience preferred. AHA BLS certification
within 90 days of hire.As aNursing Care Partner/Patient Care
Technicianwith Sentara, you will have the opportunity to learn many
new skills. From taking vitals to blood draws and daily care. The
primary duties of this position include supporting the
admission/discharge process, changing, bathing ambulating patients,
drawing blood, foley catheter care, meeting patient needs while
working under the direct supervision of a nurse. You will find that
