Fluence Labs is looking for highly motivated, career-minded
nondestructive testing (NDT) professionals to join our team of
experts. We specialize in providing bespoke NDT services designed
to tackle the most complex challenges in the industry. Each project
is approached with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that
our solutions are not only innovative but also reliable and
efficient.
Responsibilities
- Interpret film radiographs
- Set up & acquire radiographs in accordance with documented
techniques and procedures
- Document inspection results and communicate findings to
stakeholders
- Perform process control checks & statistical process
monitoring
- Apply a wide variety of acceptance criteria & process
specifications
- Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation
inspection solutions
- Travel to customer sites throughout the United States as
required
Core Competencies
- Previously Certified -RT-Film in accordance with: NAS 410 /
SNT-TC-1A
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- +5 years NDT Experience
- Works autonomously
- Good written, oral, and presentation skills
- Experience training NDT assistants
- Proficiency with various NDT data acquisition & evaluation
software
- Expertise interpreting 2D engineering drawings and model
drawings
- High competence with Industry Standards
- ASTM, ASME, AWS, etc..
Preferred Skills
- ASNT RT III
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, physics, or
computer science
- 6+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience
- Experience with quality systems (ISO
9000/AS9100/NADCAP)
- Advanced Manufacturing Experience
- Casting Inspection
- Composites Inspection
- Weld Inspection
- Knowledge of a variety of NDE techniques such as ultrasonic
testing, eddy current testing, digital radiography testing,
etc.
- Knowledge of industrial automation
- Experience with software and automation coding (LabVIEW,
Python, C#, SQL)
- Experience with POD Studies
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Controls
- Experience with root cause analysis
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar task/feature tracking
systems

Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends to meet
critical deadlines when/if needed
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted, bend, stretch, stand
for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit,
walk, and/or run
- Must be willing and able to travel to customer sites on an as
needed basis, -100% travel required.

Itar Requirements
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant
must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent
resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.
- 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.
- 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from
the U.S. Department of State.
